The Counterfeiters (Les faux monnayeurs)
It's a special novel in the way of how it is written. The author is very present behind the characters and the plot turns point of view in the change of lead character. It's a good experience to have read this book. But that's not why i recommend it. It's because I like it.

The Immoralist (L'Immoraliste)
An extraordinary approach towards the complicated process of self-discovery, and a brilliant description of the struggle between mind and body.
