Press accreditations are only open to PRINT media (journalists and photographers) and are available through the Foundation as of 22 October. Please contact media@nobel.se.

SVT, Swedish public broadcasting co. has exclusive access and filming rights to the Nobel Prize Award Ceremony and Banquet in Stockholm. Television crews and broadcasters who wish to access the Ceremony and Banquet events' locations can make use of SVT's broadcast services (stand-ups, playouts etc) and should contact broadcast@nobelmedia.se for more information.

Unfortunately there are no tickets for sale to the Nobel Prize Award Ceremony or to the Nobel Banquet in Stockholm on 10 December. All guests are personally invited by the Nobel Foundation and there are no tickets available for the general public.

We refer external parties to contact photo agencies such as or Sciencephoto.com, Scanpix, Reuters, Associated Press, Getty Images or Agence France Presse to make enquiries for other photos.

When and where will the Nobel Prize Award Ceremonies take place this year?

The Nobel Prize Award Ceremonies and Banquets take place in Stockholm (for the Nobel Prizes in Physics, Chemistry, Physiology or Medicine, Literature and The Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel) and in Oslo (for the Nobel Peace Prize) on December 10 every year, the anniversary of Alfred Nobel's death.
