Interview about the 2012 Nobel Prize in Chemistry (8 minutes)

Following the announcement, Professor Sara Snogerup Linse, Member of the Nobel Committee for Chemistry, was interviewed by freelance journalist Joanna Rose about the 2012 Nobel Prize in Chemistry. Professor Linse shortly described how the paths of the Nobel Laureates have crossed over the years and how their eureka moment is attributed to persistence and hard lab work. Outlining their work and its consequences for new drugs, she also commented upon how the borders between medicine and chemistry are less defined.
