When British writer Rudyard Kipling died on 18 January 1936 he was mourned by much of the English-speaking world. Although rarely filmed, this clip shows Kipling delivering a speech to the Canadian Author's Association. (Sound is inaudible towards end of video clip. Our apologies.)Copyright © ITN Source/Reuters 2004
