The 2003 Nobel Banquet (18 minutes)

Watch a video summary of the Nobel Banquet on 10 December 2003, starting inside the Stockholm City Hall in Sweden, where the distinguished guests make their entrance into the Blue Hall in a grand procession. Champagne is served, and a toast is made to the donor Alfred Nobel (1:17). The first course is served, and the entertainment starts (2:43). Banquet speeches are given by the 2003 Laureates: John M. Coetzee, Nobel Laureate in Literature (5:00), Peter Agre, Nobel Laureate in Chemistry (9:36), and Anthony J. Leggett, Nobel Laureate in Physics (13:02). The guests from the table of honour then leave the Blue Hall in procession (15:50). The after dinner dancing takes place in the Golden Hall (16:47).
