Nobel Week 2009 in Stockholm

The programme of the Nobel Week 2009 will include press conferences and lectures. On December 10, it culminates in the Nobel Prize Award Ceremony and the Nobel Banquet in Stockholm.

The Nobel Foundation has together with the Ministry for Foreign Affairs (MFA) International Press Centre, and the Nobel Prize awarding institutions, collected useful information for media representatives who plan to cover the 2009 Nobel Week.

The Nobel Prize Award Ceremonies in Stockholm and Oslo are exclusively filmed by SVT and NRK. The Nobel Banquet in Stockholm is exclusively filmed by SVT. Nobel Media owns all rights and copyright to the material and distributes the programmes internationally. News material and live feeds
News material from the Nobel Prize Award Ceremonies in Stockholm and Oslo as well as the Nobel Banquet in Stockholm can be accessed from AP, Reuters and via EBU. TV channels are kindly requested to check with the above news agencies and EBU to see what news access they have. During the Nobel Week, the International Press Centre of the MFA will be available to foreign media representatives. The Press Centre is equipped with working areas and technical facilities, including Internet and ISDN.
