Nobel Prize Concert

The Nobel Prize Concert is a classical music concert of the highest international standard, arranged every year by Nobel Media in cooperation with the Stockholm Concert Hall.

The concert is part of the official Nobel Week program and held in honor of the current year's Nobel Laureates. Guests at the concert include the Nobel Laureates and their parties, the Swedish Royal Family and the guests of the Nobel Foundation. The general public is also offered the opportunity to attend. The concert takes place on December 8 each year, and is externally financed through sponsorships and partnerships.

Music has always played a major part in the Nobel context and the concert concept follows in the tradition of the Nobel Prize Concerts held in the 1990s and the Centennial Concert in 2001, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Nobel Prize.
