Live Broadcasts

Nobel Media holds the rights to and distributes the live broadcasts from the Nobel Prize Award Ceremonies in Stockholm and Oslo internationally. Each year on 10 December, the live feeds from these historical events are available directly through Nobel Media.

In Stockholm, the Nobel Prize Award Ceremony is exclusively filmed and broadcast live by SVT, the Swedish public service broadcaster, on December 10 at approx. 15:20 GMT. The Nobel Prizes in Physics, Chemistry, Physiology or Medicine, Literature and the Prize in Economic Sciences are awarded in Stockholm.

In Oslo, the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony is exclusively filmed and broadcast live by NRK, the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation, on 10 December at approx. 11:50 GMT. Both programs are approximately 90 minutes long and produced in HD.

Nobel Media also distributes a 90-minute long Nobel Banquet Highlights program which features the Nobel Laureates' banquet speeches from the Stockholm City Hall's spectacular premises.
