In Stockholm, the Nobel Lectures are an integral part of Nobel Week and presented in the days leading up to the Nobel Prize Award Ceremony event. They are webcast live on Nobelprize.org and broadcast on television. The Nobel Lectures in Stockholm are held in the following Nobel Prize categories: Physics, Chemistry, Physiology or Medicine, Economic Sciences and Literature.

In Oslo, the Nobel Laureates deliver their Nobel Peace Prize Lecture during the actual Nobel Peace Prize Award Ceremony on 10 December each year.
