Held several times a year, this educational programme is designed to give researchers and students at AstraZeneca research facilities and universities worldwide the unique opportunity to meet and learn from recipients of the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine.

12-13 March:
Peter Doherty, awarded the 1996 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, lectured at the Indian Institute of Science and AstraZeneca Bangalore, India

11-12 June:
Bruce Beutler, awarded the 2011 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, lectured at the Whitehead Institute and AstraZeneca Boston, Massachusetts

15-18 October:
Oliver Smithies, awarded the 2007 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, lectured at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Nanjing University and AstraZeneca's Innovation Center, China.

1-2 November:
Elizabeth Blackburn, awarded the 2009 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, lectured at Seoul National University and Catholic University of Korea.

2011

12-13 May:
Michael Brown, awarded the 1985 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, lectured at the University of Pennsylvania and AstraZeneca US in Wilmington, Delaware

20-22 September:
Barry Marshall, awarded the 2005 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, lectured at Fudan University, Shanghai and Peking University, Beijing and the AstraZeneca China Research and Development Center

2010
1-2 December:
Tim Hunt, awarded the 2001 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, lectured at the University of Manchester, United Kingdom, and at AstraZeneca’s Alderley Park campus
