Support Nobel Media's mission to spread information about the Nobel Prize, Nobel Laureates and their prize awarded achievements to a general public. Nobel Media also has an educational mission to inspire the next generation of Nobel Laureates and to support educators in bringing the Nobel Prize award achievements into the classroom.
The will of Alfred Nobel that endowed the Nobel Prize named for him restricts how resources are expended to ensure the maximum possible value of the Nobel Prize to each year's Nobel Laureates. As a result, the Nobel Foundation is limited in its ability to support important, but ancillary, programs that indirectly serve its mission.
Nobel Media AB is externally financed with the kind support of sponsors and close collaborations with partners.
Nobel Media seeks corporate sponsors for its informational and educational mission. Sponsor projects have included sponsorship of international TV programming and distribution, production of lecture programs with Nobel Laureates and universities worldwide, production of interactive educational games and the Nobel Prize Concert.
Sponsors have the opportunity to support existing projects and/or new projects such as bringing the Nobel Prize awarded achievements to new countries or new distribution channels within digital media.
Sponsors benefit significantly from their association with the internationally recognized and respected brands within the Nobel Media portfolio such as Nobelprize.org® Nobel Prize Concert®, Nobel TV programming Nobel Prize Series® and the Nobel Prize Guide® and are prominently acknowledged for their support on both the productions they sponsor as well as in a special section of the website. Additional sponsorship benefits are dependent on the level of sponsor support.
