The Nobel Banquet 2000

A Summary

Watch a short video summary of the Nobel Banquet on 10 December 2000, starting at the Stockholm City Hall in Sweden, where the distinguished guests arrive and make their entrance into the Blue Hall. Champagne is served, and toasts are made to His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden and Alfred Nobel. Entertainers perform for the guests during dinner, which ends with a traditional 'ice-cream parade' as dessert is served in the candlelit hall. The after dinner dancing takes place in the Golden Hall.
