A Summary
Watch a short video summary of the Nobel Banquet on 10 December 2001, starting at the Stockholm City Hall in Sweden, where the distinguished guests arrive and walk in a procession to the Blue Hall. Toasts are made to His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden and Alfred Nobel (5:18). The entertainment starts (7:14), and the meal ends with a traditional 'ice-cream parade' to serve guests their desserts in the candlelit hall (8:46).
