"Salman Khan because free education, especially to underdeveloped nations who can't afford it, means more educated people. Educated people = more family planning. More family planning means less infant mortality, and/or orphans who are more likely to commit crime and end up in jail. More educated people = less prejudice. And less war. More education = more development and less socioeconomic problems which often lead to war. Therefore Sal deserves the Nobel Peace Prize."

Even those teachers that work at a school get a pay check, so why not him. I think that he would get a pay check if he received a Nobel Peace Prize. "I admire Bradley Manning. I think that if the award is given to him, it has the potential for the greatest change towards international peace and cooperation. It would force the US to face up to its own human rights violations, which it has been in a lot of denial about. This is not because of an anti-American stance, but because I think the US's position of recent years has been very corrosive in an international context. A chastened US would be a good thing for the international situation."

"Nicolas Tesla, for inventing the AC electrical current which we still use today. It can produce thousands of volts where as DC invented my Thomas Edison could only produce a few hundred. Edison tried his hardest to push back and destroy Tesla's reputation and he did so well, as Tesla is only worth a paragraph in the worlds history book. Edison even electricuted an elephant to scare people into not using Tesla's invention, thankfully we ignored Edison and use the AC current made by Tesla today."
