Jacques Monod

Professors François Jacob, André Lwoff and Jacques Monod had been working together for several years in the research department of the Pasteur Institute when, on 14 October 1965, they were awarded the Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine. The group met the journalists and photographers in the garden outside the institute (from left: Lwoff, Monod and Jacob).
