The Nobel Committee for Physiology or Medicine

The Nobel Committee for Physiology or Medicine at Karolinska Institutet is responsible for the selection of candidates from the names submitted by invited nominators. Committee members are elected for a period of 3 years. In assessing the qualifications of the candidates, the Committee is assisted by specially appointed expert advisers.
