Albert Lutuli
Documentary
Albert Lutuli and his wife stop off in Johannesburg, 5 December 1961, en route from Durban, Republic of South Africa, to Oslo, Nowrway, to collect his 1960 Nobel Peace Prize. Ex-chief Lutuli, former president of the banned African National Congress movement, had to travel on a passport restricted to 10 days abroad, and said "I am going (to Oslo) even under these imposed conditions. But I want you to know that I am going under restrictions". Several hundred cheering Africans greeted Mr Lutuli with cries of 'Africa'.
