1938 The Government of Panama (Lefevre) Hull Hull was nominated for his efforts to improve relations between the USA and Latin America. He encouraged détente and a spirit of peace on the American continent through his Pan-American policy, the so-called "Good Neighbor Policy". 1949 Molino de Bustamante y Sirvén Bustamante advocated international co-operation, especially in Latin America. He wanted to use international law as a means to achieve mutual understanding and to establish a common law system that could be used to solve international disputes. Show »
