1936	Morris	Hull	Hull was nominated for his efforts to improve relations between the USA and Latin America. He initiated the Montevideo Pan-American Conference in 1933 that ratified the principle of non-intervention in other nations' internal affairs. Hull conducted a liberal foreign policy that led to the Philippine Independence Act, the Treaty of Cuba and an act to amend the Tariff Act of 1930.
