Motivation: Fauchille was the editor of "Revue Générale du Droit international Public" (founded by Fauchille and Pillet in 1894), through which he contributed to the development of international law. Author of the four-volume work "Traité de Droit International Public". In 1921 Fauchille, de Lapradelle and A. Alvarez founded "Institut des Hautes Etudes Internationales", a postgraduate college aimed at teaching international law and developing friendly relations between students of different nationalities.
