Comment: In 1936 two campaigns were initiated in favour of Prince Carl. One campaign was initiated by Max Huber, President of the International Committee of the Red Cross, the other campaign by five members of the Swedish parliament (Ruth Gustafson, Vira Eklund, Bertha Wellin, Agda Östlund and Olivia Nordgren).
