The Norwegian Nobel Institute was established in
1904, andmoved into its present building in central Oslo, close
to the Royal Palace, in 1905. Here the Nobel Committee announces
the year's Nobel Peace Prize Laureates and the Nobel Secretariat
carries on its daily work.
