Nobel Week 2021 takes place on 6–12 December in Stockholm and Oslo. Many of the events will be streamed and possible to follow online.

Activities with a set date
Nobel Prize Concert
The Nobel Prize Concert at Konserthuset Stockholm (the Stockholm Concert Hall) will feature the acclaimed Argentina-born cellist Sol Gabetta. The name of the conductor, the programme and date for ticket release will be published later.
Nobel Week Dialogue
The theme of this year’s Nobel Week Dialogue is ‘The City of the Future’. It will take place at Svenska Mässan, Gothenburg and online. Registration will open at the beginning of November.
10 December – Nobel Day
Nobel Prize award ceremonies
The laureates will receive their Nobel Prize medals and diplomas in their home countries. These presentation events will be woven together with a prize award ceremony at the Stockholm City Hall, with a local audience present.
The Norwegian Nobel Committee is still keeping open the possibility of welcoming the year’s Nobel Peace Prize laureate(s) to Oslo. In mid-October, the Committee will announce the format of the Nobel festivities in Oslo.
Nobel Peace Prize Concert
In collaboration with the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation and the Nobel Institute, the Oslo Philharmonic hosts the concert for the recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize 2021 at Oslo Concert Hall.

Nobel Prize lectures (digital)
Dates and times for the lectures will be added later.
The laureates will receive their Nobel Prize diplomas and medals in their home countries.

Nobel Week Lights
Nobel Week Lights is an artistic tribute to this year’s Nobel Prize laureates. The light installations will be shown in Stockholm during the Nobel Week.
The first-ever major exhibition about the Nobel Prize banquet is open at Nobel Prize Museum in Stockholm during the Nobel Week. It is an exhibition where you can get a sense of what it feels like to attend the gala. The food, the clothing, the decorations and the laureates’ speeches are in the spotlight.
The Nobel Peace Center in Oslo will open a new exhibition about the year’s peace prize in December.
