We know that 100% of 544 is, well, just 544.**Step 2:**If 100% of 544 is 544, then we can get 1% of 544 by dividing it by 100. Let's do 544 / 100. This is equal to 5.44. Now we know that 1% is 5.44.**Step 3:**Now that we know what 1% of 544 is, we just need to multiply it by 1 to get our solution! 5.44 times 1 = 5.44. That's all there is to it!
