This is the press programme for Nobel Week 2025 in Stockholm. You will need to apply for accreditation for some of the activities during the week. There is very limited space for the Nobel Prize award ceremony and banquet.

Press conference for Nobel Week
Meet the chef and the pastry chef for the Nobel Prize banquet, whose names will be announced at the press conference. You will also hear from students at Beckmans College of Design who have interpreted the Nobel Prizes via fashion creations. The detailed press programme for the week will also be handed out.

Sneak peek: Nobel Week Lights
Sneak peek of the artworks and meet some of the artists of this year’s Nobel Week Lights. The last preparations are made, and the artworks are tested. Warm clothes and good shoes are recommended. Photo and video opportunities for media. We meet up by the City Hall and go for a tour in the city.

The Nobel Prize Museum is open during the Nobel Day for media and visitors. During the Nobel Day, the museum is filled with festive activities, and you can follow the live broadcast from the Nobel Prize ceremony in Stockholm. Photo and video opportunities for media.

Broadcast services
During the prize award ceremony, the Nobel Prize laureates receive a diploma and medal from HM The King. Speeches are given by representatives from the prize-awarding institutions. The speeches can be obtained against embargo via [email protected]
The diplomas will be published on nobelprize.org on 10 December and can be obtained here.

Nobel Week Lights
Nobel Week Lights is an artistic tribute to the Nobel Prize laureates and their achievements. The light installations will be shown outdoors in Stockholm 6 December–14 December, 16:00–22:00. More information
Exhibition: ‘These things changed the world’
For the first time, the Nobel Prize Museum is displaying a large selection of items from its collection of artefacts from Nobel Prize laureates. These objects tell stories of remarkable discoveries and life achievements. More than 250 artefacts bear witness to revolutionary inventions, courageous peace efforts, groundbreaking ideas and innovative literature.

Nobel Prizes and laureates
