Announcement of the 2012 Nobel Prize in Physics by Professor Staffan Normark, Permanent Secretary of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, on 9 October 2012.


Interview

Immediately following the announcement, Professor Per Delsing was interviewed by freelance journalist Joanna Rose regarding the 2012 Nobel Prize in Physics.

During the interview he outlined how the work of this year’s two recipients sets them apart in their field, and he also provided an overview of their work, including an explanation of a few key terms. Prior to discussing possible future applications of their work, he referred also to how their findings relate to Schrödinger’s cat paradox.
