In November 2025, the Nobel Prize Dialogue came to India for a special double event in Bengaluru and Mumbai. The dialogue brought Nobel Prize laureates together with leading thinkers to explore ideas and challenges that matter to all of us. With the theme ‘The Future We Want’, the India dialogues reflected on how investment in knowledge, creativity and our young people can build a world of joy, wonder and innovation that is more inclusive, sustainable, and equitable. These conversations were grounded in India’s rich intellectual tradition and will showcase its emergence as a leading player on the global stage.
The events featured Nobel Prize laureates David MacMillan (chemistry 2021) and James Robinson (economic sciences 2024), joined by voices from science, business and policymaking. Each dialogue explored pathways to a future shaped by shared values and informed by evidence. Hosted by Nobel Prize Outreach in collaboration with Tata Trusts, Nobel Prize Dialogue India 2025 aimed to foster open exchange, inspire the next generation, and deepen the connection between science and society.
