Laura Nuño de la Rosa is a philosopher of science specialising in the history and philosophy of biology. She is currently a research scientist at the Institute of Philosophy of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC).

With a degree in Humanities (University of Alicante), a Master’s in Biophysics (Autonomous University of Madrid), and a PhD in Philosophy from the Complutense University of Madrid and Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University, she has served as a professor and researcher at the Konrad Lorenz Institute in Vienna, the University of the Basque Country, and the Complutense University of Madrid. Her work integrates the history and philosophy of evolutionary biology with an analysis of the social implications of the biomedical sciences. In 2019, she was awarded the Julián Marías Prize in the Humanities.
