Comments: Koht suggested primarily to give an undivided prize to the High Commission for Refugees. If this was not agreed upon by the Committee, he suggested that the prize was equally divided between the two nominees. Both the High Commission for Refugees and the Nansen International Office for Refugees were organizations initiated by the League of Nations. The latter organization continued Nansen's work (League of Nations High Commissioner for refugees 1921-30) after his death.
