Count Richard von Coudenhove-Kalergi was born in Tokyo as the son of the Austrian/Hungarian ambassador and a Japanese mother. He was the founder of the Paneuropean-union, the first movement for a united Europe. He died in Austria. After Coundehove-Kalergi's death the former Crown Prince of Austria/Hungary became the Paneuropeans-union's president. |
