Comments: The conflict between Colombia and Peru erupted in 1932 when 300 Peruvians occupied the Leticia harbour. The jurisdiction over Leticia had been handed over from Peru to Colombia in 1922. Several French scholars supported the nomination. The nomination was submitted through the Brazilian ambassador to Norway.
