What is the Nobel Prize Dialogue?
The Nobel Prize Dialogue is an open, cross-disciplinary meeting bringing together a unique constellation of Nobel Prize laureates and thought leaders to discuss global issues that affect us all. A forum for scientists and non-scientists alike, the meeting aims to deepen the dialogue between the scientific community and the rest of society. The Nobel Prize Dialogue is free to attend on-site and accessible to a worldwide audience online.

No, only invited speakers will be able to present at the Nobel Prize Dialogue.
Accessibility
The main entrance to the Royal Society is accessed via five steps with a handrail. However, step-free access is available via an external platform lift located to the right of the main entrance. The lift is operated by reception staff and can be accessed using the call button situated next to the entrance steps.
The entrance doors are made of transparent glass with clear handles.
If you have any specific access requirements or would like assistance on arrival, please do not hesitate to send an email in advance to [email protected] or speak to a member of staff when you arrive.

Car and coach parking:
We are located within the congestion charge zone. On-street parking on Carlton House Terrace and Waterloo Place is available for up to four hours, priced at £11.38 per 2 hours. The Cavendish Carpark is also close by.
Disabled parking permit holders:
Subject to availability, there are a limited number of parking spaces immediately outside the front door which can be booked in advance for Blue Badge holders. Please contact the reception team if you would like to reserve one of these spaces.
Bicycle parking:
There are cycle racks along Carlton House Terrace on either side of the Duke of York monument.
Bikes can be locked securely to the left of the entrance steps.
Electric bikes and e-scooters are not permitted inside the building
Arriving at 6-9 Carlton House Terrace:
The main entrance to the building has five steps, with a handrail, which lead up to the ground floor of the building.
To the right of the main entrance is an external platform lift (max. weight 1350kg) which is operable by reception staff. There is a call button to the right of the entrance steps which will allow visitors to call a member of staff to operate the lift.
