He reckoned that the tireless peace efforts of the Peace Bureau and its general secretary Élie Ducommun deserved recognition in the form of a secure financial foundation at the core of the Peace Bureau's peace work. Pratt contributed to the founding of the Permanent International Peace Bureau.|
