Anderson F. Brito is a virologist and bioinformatician. Currently, he serves as a research scientist at Instituto Todos pela Saúde (ITpS), an institution in Brazil dedicated to pandemic preparedness and rapid response to infectious threats.

Anderson F. Brito is a virologist and bioinformatician with over 10 years of experience in these fields. He earned his PhD in computational biology from Imperial College London and completed his postdoctoral studies at Yale University School of Public Health. He is also an affiliate member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences (ABC).

Anderson F. Brito is deeply involved in understanding infectious disease dynamics, with a focus on investigating the emergence, geographic spread, and molecular evolution of viruses using molecular data. Currently, he serves as a research scientist at Instituto Todos pela Saúde (ITpS), an institution in Brazil dedicated to pandemic preparedness and rapid response to infectious threats.

At ITpS, Anderson leads initiatives in data analysis for near real-time surveillance of infectious diseases. His work plays a crucial role in informing public health strategies and interventions during outbreaks and pandemics.
